Running is one of my main interests and I love the camaraderie that race day brings.  I am also passionate about the great outdoors and think events such as those hosted by Maverick Race that opens up the UK's most beautiful locations to attendees are the way forward. 

​

Despite being a volunteer position, this role demonstrates the ability to work well in a client facing role within a team.  It requires adaptability and quick uptake of the task as well as an initiative to solve problems.  I find my background in logistical and delivery support really beneficial in approaching duties in a methodical manner. 

 

Volunteering at these events has allowed me to combine my professional skills and passions to help people of all abilities to get out there and enjoy sport, which is something I really believe in.
